THE SPIRIT OF THE TRIBES 6 in FLORIDA was an overwhelming connection, a display of the most talented teachers, artists, musicians such an intense and fun Celebration....This year the SPIRIT did rock.

ЕЕЕHi, My friend and I attended Spirit of the Tribes classes and shows this
year. It was the first time we attended. And all I can say is "WOW".
It was amazing. We have attended Rakassah East 4 years in a row and
never walked away feeling this way.

We loved how you organized the shows at night. It shows respect to the
performers. We loved the variety of the shows. I had never seen
Brazilian or flamenco dancers before. It was breathtaking. We loved
how you separated the vending from the classes.

Please tell me this will happen again next year? I told my family they
should fly down just to see the shows.

I would like to send my thanks to everyone who made this happen. It

The classes run on time, your staff is efficient and professional AND friendly on top of thatЕЕЕThe shows are full of wonderful, fabulous, cutting edge performances that you would never get to see all in one place at one time anywhere else.

The sheer magnitude of coordinating such an event is mind boggling.

And then you and your troupe perform beautifully on top of everything else. Unbelievable!!!

I do not know how you do it, even with LOTS of help....regardless-it all starts with YOUR VISION. And that vision is a beautiful one!..........and I am proud to have been a part of that vision for the last 2 years.

I am saddened to think that this might have been the last year for TRIBES, but can empathize with the commitment.

.............Dear Maja, I realize how busy you must be and I don't want to burden you with one more email. But I can't contain myself! The Spirit of the Tribes' ('03, '05 & '06) meant so much to me and my friends. It's a trip that we can always count on to bring us together in a communal, fun, and SAFE environment - it's a total release - it's also a re-charging, both to our personal lives and our craft. Thank you for assembling the event and thereby promoting more happiness and feelings of good will into our collective existence.

I'm am saddened that this may be your last Spirit, but I understand that all things must change. In fact, the word SPIRIT can also mean courage as well as soul. It takes courage to recognize when it is time to change that with which we have grown too comfortable and familiar. ...MAJA.... we performed at your 2005 Spirit of the Tribes. This last Spirit was the 3rd year IТve attended and am more impressed with every year. Your warmth and love for the dancers shines through and itТs a very open and supporting environment. The instructors and performers were amazing and wanted to tell you what a wonderful job you and your staff do.

..I felt a bit melancholy as I read between the lines in the program that this may be your last Spirit of the Tribes event. I surely hope not Maja as I really look forward to your next one ..

Dear Maja: This was my first experience with your Spirit, and it was an amazing one, everything all around was expectacular. I particularly enjoyed Tobias and his style of teaching. It was the first time I really understood by notes and sounds the drum not just counting numbers.

......Overall, I was totally into this weekend. The drumming classes were awesome. Both sessions/teachers were excellent. What really kicked my butt was the Salsa Belly Dancing....Fabulous workout and great energy from the wonderful instructor. Speaking of, Colleena was exquisite with her Folkdancing as well as teaching. Her detailed instructions gave us more insight about symbols and gestures in the dance...
Hmm....both shows were fabulous....Desert Sin was tastefully edgy...loved it.....need I say more....
Mira was soo approachable and friendly...
As a dancer and student, the diversity and creativity was so stimulating..... can't wait for next year. Tess

Michelle, I think RIZ did an outstanding job, he is by far the best fire dancer around, I think that a little extra fuel, did not take anything away from his amazing performance. SHAMBALA

ЕЕ..I attended this year's Spirit of the Tribes and I just wanted to THANK YOU for an AMAZING weekend. The shows were incredible and inspiring and the workshops I took (all day Saturday and Urban Tribal and Kassar on Sunday) were the best I've ever taken. I was in heaven the whole weekend. The prices for the workshop were very reasonable, which is pretty rare! Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!
